I believe Mexico uses a 737-300, Canada a 310 and Japan has a 747-400. For a presidential visit earlier this year the Korean President travel to Costa Rica in a Korean Air 747-400 which cause quite a stir in San Jose.

I'm pretty sure they have two or three. In fact I can recall seeing a picture of two Japan Gov 747s together.

Spain still uses the 707 aircraft and France has bought a pair of A340-200 from OS to put it as presidential aircraft.

As well as all of the Gulfstreams and the Presidents 747, the US government has four 757 VIPs that are used for the First Lady, Vice Pres, Sec. of State, and some other cabinet members when needed. This is the same with the group of BBJ's that the government has.

Cheers  Smile

I believe FRAspotter is correct in so much as you probably won't find a schematic of the interior..but I don't think the entire interior is a secret. I believe there was a video put out about the time of the 747s were delivered, celebrating all the years of AF1... certain areas were shown/explained.

Regards,
Tom

Why is that? Hundreds of non government types fly on it, reporters and the like. I don't want the secret stuff, just what the rooms look like. There are books out on what every room in the white house looks like.
