OK, so we all know that everybody argues about who's best, Airbus or Boeing, but let's change the subject a little. How about, which is the best aircraft Boeing has ever made, in your opinion? You don't have to narrow it down to just one, pick a couple of planes!
For me, I'd have to say the 747 and the 757 are the best two Boeings to ever take to the skies!!!
The 747 is really the queen of the skies. No offense Airbus-lovers but nothing produced by Airbus or any other compeditor will ever compare to her!! It's sad production of the last-generation 747s will end soon.
I hope Boeing launches the 747-500 to keep the line going!!!
The 757 is sleek, sexy and fast! I love her. She's great to look at from any angle. She's powerful, and she'll give you a kick in the pants every time!!! There's no way to make a 757 look bad, even a 757 in a mostly-white paint scheme looks good...amazingly! I love the landing gear. I know it's unusual to talk about, but I do. (It looks alot better than competing A321's landing gear, it needs another set of wheels on each leg! In my opinion.) There's a zillion-and-one things more I could say!!!!
A close third would be the 777, she's really something.
Mostly I like all Boeings. Now I want to hear from you!
Let me know you most favorite, or a couple of your most favorite Boeing aircraft, and don't be afraid to.....RAMBLE!!!! LOL

Even though there is already a poll up on the airliners.net homepage for this topic, I'll answer it again anyways. I personally think the 747 is the best, being the queen of the skies for over 30 years and the first widebody ever constructed. I also like the 777 for its power, range and size.

I'm not in love with Boeings at all since I've only been on a 727, 737-300 and 742, 743, 744. The 727 was old but disembarkation by the rear ramp to the ground was pretty cool. The 737 was pretty cramped and I hate the shape of its engines. In the 747, there so many people that you feel uncomfortable. I don't mean to offend Boeing fans since I'm REALLY hoping that my next flight, Swissair from Hong Kong to Manila would be a 777.

I think for a "workhorse" airliner, the current 757-200 is hard to beat. Capable of both USA transcontinental and trans-Atlantic flights over the North Atlantic, the 757-200 has proved to be very popular with every airline that ordered them--United, American, Delta, Continental, Northwest, America West, TWA, etc.
It's the plane that allowed most airlines to retire their DC-8 and 707 fleets.

It's very hard to name any one of the Boeing Aircraft (B717-B777). You've gotta love the reliabililty, versatility and simplicity of the 737. The 747 for its majestic appearance and the "4 engine factor. The B757 for its slim, sleek, high look which is the best way that I could describe it. Besides...can any other aircraft perform like 757. An then there is the 777 with its sophistication and luxurious amentities. Alright...I'll try to list in order of favorites

Probably not the best but it was my favorite. The 747SP, never got to ride on one, maybe I will get lucky some day and some King or Head of State will let me go for a ride. I really liked the look of the long range mini 747.

Of course the BEST Airplane that Boeing has built will be the 747. The 747 is BIG and comfortable, also it depends what airline(s) use this Aircraft to have it in good condition and maintenance. Thank You Boeing Company for making an Aircraft comfortable and that people like a lot!!!

For sheer looks, and nostalgia as the first one I've ever worked on...727-200. From a more pragmatical point of view...767/757 (with the "sixty seven" just a bit better IMO). 737-200 gets honorable mention.
