Hi everyone,

Anyone here know what is going on with the multi million dollar projects that were announced for EZE and AEP earlier in the year? I haven't found anything at aa2000's website, and not much in the papers. I'd like to know if there is any construction going or what is going on with the various projects.

Also what's up with the new COR airport? And has anyone been to MDQ to see the renovations there? And if are there any other airport updates within Argentina I haven't mentioned here, I'd appreciate any input.

My internet was not shut down, the internet has shut me down

You can see some pictures of the renovations at Mar del Plata and the new terminal at Cordoba at www.aeropuertosarg.com.ar (the site of Argentina airports).

I flew into and out of both AEP and EZE several times in October and while neither are truly "renovated", they are not bad airports at all. EZE is a lot smaller than I thought it would be. The main check in hall (not the AR one, the other one) is very bright and airy. The air side terminal departures has an amazing duty free shop and the gate area renovations seemed like they were almost complete.

Arriving into EZE is a different story. There is rust everywhere and the experience, while not bad at all, is less than stellar.

AEP is a nice airport with a great departures hall and some good shopping. The check in area could be improved, but overall, I liked both facilities.

Does AEP handles non-stop flights from SCL and ASU (maybe POA)?

I don't work for COPA Airlines!

No, AEP's only international flights are to/from Uruguay. If I am correct however, part of the renovation masterplan is to open AEP to some international traffic, presumably SCL and CGH
