Hey! Is there any new airline news from the bahamas? How is Bahamasair's new routes from Nassau-Kingston and Marsh Harbour-Fort Lauderdale doing?

Ok thanks, didnt DL start/announce NAS-BOS as Sat. only service too? DL will probably pull off of this route and AUS-JFK with B6 on it

Yes, DL did. I believe it's a MD80 or 90

Not big news, I know Wink

, but First Choice Airways' Manchester-Nassau flights that were started in May 2005 have been successful, and for summer 2006 the frequency will be doubled - to weekly!

From May 2006 the MAN-NAS-MAN flights will operate every Sunday (as opposed to every other Tuesday this year) arriving Nassau at 1740L, and departing at 1925L.

Again flights will use 258 seat 767s.

That would make a lot of sense seeing the trouble with Chalk's right now, but I never even knew Bimini had an runway airport, and I've even been there. Cool.

I was right, MD-88 service. a 3 hour and 33 minute flight.

I was in NAS Dec 23rd and saw a Qatar A330 around 7.30 am. (Driving too fast to see the reg.) Thought it strange parked there by the hangars. Perhaps it was a charter. Anyone know why it was there?
