For the price, the service received on Delta Express is unbeatable. I flew Delta Express from Columbus to Orlando and back last August on one of their 737-200's. The flights both ways were smooth and comfortable the entire way. The flight attendants were very nice and made sure their passengers were taken care of. The aircraft was loud, but toleralble. In my opinion, I thought the service I experienced on Delta Express were better than that I received on mainstream Delta flights.

I flew them 3 years ago from IAD to MCO because my flight from Frankfurt was arriving late and we couldn't catch our United anymore.
It was a really, really bad flight. Actually not the flight but just the aircraft, service, ...
It was an old B737-200 that smelled so terrible inside. That was really disgusting. I don't know what they did to that cabin.
On this 2 hour flight there was besides one drink offer no service at all. Nothing.
I think I saw an F/a once during that flight.
The only cool thing was, that the plane was almost empty and I had enough space. 3 seats.
After that flight I was really sad that I couldn't catch the UA B757-200 !!!

I flew on Delta Express in December of 1997. I thought the flight was great. We left on time and got to orlando like 20 minutes early. oh yeah btw I flew Boston to Orlando! The inflight service was excellent, the f/a's were very friendly, we had beverage service and a snack like tray with a snackwell bar, a candy (snicker or butterfinger) and some crackers/chips/or pretzels, I can't remember that part much. The plane we had was okay. Not in terrible condition. On our way back to Boston we were like an hour late because the pilot was worried about lamination on the wing coming off, and he didn't wan't to take any chances, so after everybody had boarded and was ready for departure, we had to de-plane! so we went to a different gate where they would bring another plane to us. This plane when you stepped inside, I thought wow, walls were like pale orange and stuff, it was like majorly 70's early 80's! but all in all the flight was good, landing was kind of weird it was so foggy that I couldn't tell were landing, until we hit the runway!
do what you like . like what you do . life is good

I flew a couple times with Delta Express between RDU and MCO. All my expierences were good. Does anyone know when Delta is planning on replacing those 737-200 with something newer? The planes that I was on were refurbished but definantly showed their age.
