Yes, I didn't like seeing that this early in the morning.

They probably need it immediately, or the paintshop was not available right now.
Most likely, KLM Cityhopper operated 2 Fokker 70's (PH-KZO/R) in Britsh Midland c/s with KLc t/s for a while because they missed their slot in the paintshop.

What engines are fitted on the ex-Pelita F100's? Tay620 I assume, since all KL F100's have Tay620 engines, if I recall correctly?
Pelita operated them for just four years, anyone know why? According to airfleets.net they have still 2 F100's left, of which one was obtained directly from Fokker in 1990 and one from Midway in 2003. Will they leave Pelita anytime soon?
Also, anyone know what's going to happen with 11445, the 4th ex-Pelita which was stored together with the 3 ex-Pelita's that are now with KLC?

These will indeed be the first in KLM's fleet with Tay 650-15. The very first, exTAM PH-LMV already left the fleet after flying for KLM for a few months only.

NO MORE EUROWHITE!!!!
The horror! I'm sure your lives wouldn't come to an end if they painted them white. They would be pretty plain looking but the apocalypse wouldn't occur with a new paint job.

This plane is going to be the first Fokker 100 with refitted engines. A nice little project of Stork (and Rekkof). If things work out okay, look out for more KLM Fokkers to be reengined.

This is really good news!
Is it safe to say that if this will be successful, there's a good chance for Rekkof to succeed?
Is there already information about which engines will be used (RR I assume)? And when the retrofit will be ready?

Did somebody say Rekkof?
I thought the upgrading and MX of Fokkers is and will be done by Stork. Why is Rekkof, after all these years, still a ghost instead only alive on this sight instead of a running company making planes?

Yes, somebody said Rekkof. Rekkof is actually involved in the retrofitting of this F100, according to my information. Alive? Not visibly. Dead? Not at all.
And don't forget you can't just start manufacturing planes and expect that everything will turn out just as good you hope. Aviation business is rather complicated, especially in this case.

It's rather expensive as well... It's hard to accept, but Rekkof most likely will need government money in some way. Not that I think this is a problem, on the contrary, but it's hard with all this EU hassle nowadays. There's lot of ego's involved with Fokker, and it wouldn't be very wise to do it for the sake of it. It should be a sound economic decision, not a matter of national pride.
Like stated in another post on the forum; chances of Fokker (Rekkof) are there as long as KL still needs to replace their fleet. Once they choose for e.g. Embrear; Rekkof isn't invisible, they've disappeared.
I want to make clear I am a Fokker fan so no offense please!

Of course it's expensive, but the most expensive part is are R&D costs and Rekkof stated they only want to manufacture the existing F70/F100's. With the new-engine plans there are of course some more R&D costs involved, but I don't think that will be the problem.
My guess is that the biggest problem is politics. Aviation business (especially manufacturing, look at Boeing and Airbus) is totally covered with politics. If I read the posts from the people that seem to know more about the project than we do (from the past half year), I get the feeling that this is just about politics. And believe me, politics can be a way bigger problem than money....
