Hi all,
This is my very first post on A.net so I don't know if this has been discussed before.
As I checked the online booking system on both LX and LH, I figured out that when trying to book a flight {GVA}-{JFK}, LX always displays the non-stop flight while LH displays only flight with LH connecting through Germany !! In contrary when looking for a {FRA}-{JFK}, LX displays the direct LH flight !

Hey HBJZA (nice username, I love that orange aircraft ) welcome to a.net.
Good to see another Swiss user here. Expect some hot debates about the LX/LH story
Well, what game is LH playing? I have my opinion but as soon as I express my opinion here then some others will fall over me so this time I do them a favour and will not participate in this heat debate.

HBKZA, welcome to A.net !
Quoting HBJZA (Thread starter): LH displays only flight with LH connecting through Germany
Since the last revision of LH´s booking engine (in October 2005 IIRC) it only contains flights with a LH-code.
Currently there´s no option to view/select/book continuation flights on fellow StarAlliance members (even not when selecting "multiple stops").
I have no knowledge, if this much desired feature will be introduced again.
About 2-3 years ago, during a previous revision of LH´s booking engine, it lost the possibility to book via "multiple stops"; IIRC this feature was introduced only about 1 year later !

Well... I think we both agree on this... LX is an equal and valued LH partner! No games
Seriously though... LX is going to be LH's b____ insert word of choice here...mine will be "buddy" .
It's a shame, but then again, there's now way LX could have survived otherwise with its ZRH-centric policy
