I read this article (Dutch, sorry)...

http://www.luchtvaartnieuws.nl/news/?ID=11867

...and it says that after Air France, British Airways, Delta Air Lines, Iberia, KLM, Lufthansa, Mexicana, Northwest Airlines, SAS, Singapore Airlines, Spanair en Virgin Atlantic Airways now ALSO Continental is using this system.

I believe the Carmen System is a planning system for Pilots but my question is: how does it exactly work? (never heard of it before till now)

It also says that KLM pilots had troubles with the system and it took a while before KLM started using it. Anyone has further details about this(system)?

The article also says that this system is used by railroad companies.

Thanks for the info. FJWH

I think Carmen is the system used to build rotations (trips) for the pilots.
