Kingfisher Not Interested In Air Sahara

Kingfisher has withdrawn from the race to take up a stake in Air Sahara. VM said that he was no longer interested in S2 as Kingfisher was doing well. A further added that the delivery of A330s would commence in 2007 3Q. and that of A380 in 2010.

An airplane might disappoint any pilot but it'll never surprise a good one.

My reading of this announcement is:

1. IT trying to bring S2's price down by feigning lack of interest
2. Mallya has some inside news that IT may be allowed international flights sooner than the current 5 year period. Hence the value of S2 goes down tremendously.

I wish IT all the best - and am glad they're not buying S2 - which would have probably weighed IT down with all it's accumulated debt and mess.
