Hi everyone... I've looked through the USAirways website for the answer to this question, but found nothing.
I'll be traveling from DFW-SJU through PHL in a few weeks, and returning through CLT. The DFW-PHL leg leaves at 10:40 am and is scheduled to serve lunch. I found this a little bit surprising since the flight really isn't very long, plus it's on a 737-300, which doesn't have any ovens (I don't think). What type of lunch can I expect?
The CLT-DFW leg leaves around 7:15 pm and is marked as a dinner flight. It's also on a 737-300, so same situation and question apply here...
The PHL-SJU and SJU-CLT flights are marked as snack flights, and are on a 757 and 767, respectively. What can I expect here?
Thanks for the help... If anyone knows where I can find this info without bugging the folks on here I'd appreciate that info as well.

lunch or dinner on the 737 is usually cold sandwiches.
I have not flown F on US 757, so I can't comment there, but on the 767, you will get hot food (pretty good if I do say so) as the plane is normally found on trans-Atlantic service, and you will be in what would normally be Envoy Class.

Yes, cold sandwich, with a side salad or something like that. Actually pretty decent.
You won't get hot food on the 767 -- even though it is normally envoy class -- it is actually run as regular first class when its not transatlantic. if its just a snack, you'll just get some fruit and crackers or something like that. I flew F PHL-CUN on a 762 and was dissapointed with the paltry offerring (the food was fine -- just not much of it!)
no idea where you can find this online -- i used to fly a lot in US F class.

That's weird. I received hot meals on the A320 in F when flying to SJO, so I would think the 762 would do it as well flying to SJU.
Also, you can always ask the F/A for more snacks. They are fairly liberal with the snake basket in F.

Only no hot meal because it is listed as a "snack" flight only. If you were getting a full meal on the 762, I'm guessing it would be hot (although I've never been on a 762 for a meal flight).
And YES, eat those snack! Unlimited helpings of the snack basket, which is actually quite good on US! (Not to mention the wine....gotta love the wine...it'll keep coming and coming and coming....)
