OK I have a question...I recently flew COEX and it was listed as "SNACK"

for those familiar with COEX what is a snack service flight. Other COEX flights were listed as "no meal service" but this flight I was on was listed as "SNACK" What should one expect on a COEX flight marked as a "SNACK"

I heard from a friend who's best friend is a F/A for COEX that she serves sandwiches and such on ExpressJet

If you recently flew CO, then you should know what a snack service is  Smile. The last time I flew COEX on a snack flight, it was a sandwich snack basket in 2003, but recent photos on airlinemeals.net seem to be showing crackers and cheese spread. You may receive a pastry item during morning snack flights. B6 and WN are starting to look more attractive for snack items the more legacies cut back on snacks and start charging for them.

It depends. I flew COEX recently on three "SNACK" flights. One in the AM, one around noon and one around 5pm.

The morning flight: muffins

The noon flight: sandwich, chips, apple, chocolate

The night flight: cheese spread, crackers, power mix, chocolate covered raisins, salami, among other things...

All were sufficient for flight length-- no qualms. I'm glad to receive anything that isn't peanuts!!

Last I did it was sandwich (choice of turkey, or ham and cheese), baby carrots, and this fudgey nutty brownie thing. All prepackaged of course. Quite tastey. The sandwich isn't extremely big, but about the size of those "Snackers" @ KFC if that helps as a reference.

the best is when they serve the crackers and cream cheese with the pepperoni slices and apple, and marshmellow peanut candy bar

they reason I asked this is because my early morning flight was listed as a "SNACK" and I could tell the F/A wasnt all about being there that morning. And I am a F/A so I understand if your tired, etc but at least provide the minimum service required by you. At any rate my "SNACK" service flight was her coming around asking if you wanted pretzels (although she did give 2 bags of pretzels) then she brought the cart out and when she got to me, I was in the last row, she says "do you want somthing?" and I said could I please get a coffee with creme and sweatener. She then says "oh here you go" Like I was a bother to her
