Egypt-UK One-way With UK Charter Airline?

Is it ever possible to book a one-way ticket on a UK charter airline from any Egyptian airport back to the UK?

Fantastic airline, reasonable aircraft & IFE, meals ok, seats a little tight, aisles narrow, but who cares when fares are incredible !!!!

Check out my recent posting on AUD$99 fares PERTH/LONDON GATWICK. it's about 24 hours including stops, so about AUD$4/hour (USD$3).

I doubt if there has even been a cheaper fare for 24 hours flying including stops, at least in the last 30 years !!!

nationality won't make any difference. What I think Rdwootty means is they might not be able to sell one ways back to UK to anyone !!!

Nationality can be a factor in who you can sell tickets to on charter flights, regulations are generally much more restrictive on charters (especially from countries like Egypt) with a view to protecting their national carrier.

Every tour operator will have a licensing manual which tells them who they can and can't sell tickets to for each route, and the rules may vary from company to company. If they don't have one-way seats available on the web, it may still be worth giving them a call and asking if its possible.

Sure is I did it just a couple of weeks ago (had to turn a 7 night hol into 5 unfortunately.

Go to redseaflights.com and search for one way. I flew Sharm-->LGW for £99 all in.

The carrier is Astraeus : www.flyastraeus.com

A word of advice - buy some food before you board the onboard food (whilst free) is circa 1990 charter airline vintage Smile

And the bar/soft drinks are to pay for!

I rarely fly charter airlines but a one-way ticket from CAI to LON ordinarily costs about £170-190 all-in, which is perhaps £30-60 less than a return.
