This has been known for a while, but know they have signed the deal.

Mexican startup Volaris signed a deal with Airbus yesterday for 16 firm A319s and 40 options on A320 family aircraft.The aircraft will be configured for 144 passengers in a single-class layout and will be powered by IAE V2500s.

Rumor has it they are very well backed, so I expect those options to become firmed up at a later time. Their website is up and running for anybody not aware of it. volaris.com.mx
