While reading the paper a few days ago, I found this article that talks about an airline called Air Costa Rica, that just started ops from SJO to Bocas del Toro in Panama. The airline will work in alliance with Air Panama, flying this route on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
So, I went looking and found more articles repeating what I had already read, but nothing more... Perhaps our Costa Rican friends have more info about it?
Being a pioneer in any field is not by itself a guarantee of continued success - Pan Am, anyone?

Nice find, Carmen. To be honest this is the very first time I ever heard of Air Costa Rica. I thought at the beginning that you were talking about Aero Costa Rica, which was a shortlived airline that I believe competed against LR from the late 80's/early 90's that operated 737s and 727s.
What equipment does this Air Costa Rica use? I just asked at CRAV.net, maybe they also know. Maybe André can come over here and tell us if he knows about this as well.
