Great news for Tanzania airlines. Are they going to operate all their routes with only 3 aircrafts, or do they have plans to extend their fleet? I hope, and I think that they will have success: Tanzania has a lots of opportunities for tourism.
Aren't kulula and 1time from South Africa also low cost?

This is all looking a bit familiar. Their logo and livery is exactly the same as a proposed Dubai based airline that was thrown about last year, flying to places like Barcelona as I recall. Will never work!

Quoting Fly2YYZ (Reply 8): Maybe I'm slow, but what on earth does the percent sign in the centre of the sun mean?
From the website: The logo incorporates our pleasing and Smart insignia, with the "Smart visage" added to symbolise the gladness. The Smart stroke that completes the logo represents the joy of paying less and because we care, we're always happy to have you onboard with us.

Is this for real? I dont think the international destinations put here are accurate. From the route map, I think Asian destinations are using EK via DXB. Also, interesting to note no connections to places like LHR and BOM. And the booking calendar is 4 months behind times ...
Yep. The disfunctional web site is a worry for an industry that needs to show precision in its operations and provide security for its prospective clients. The booking facility does not appear to be operable for 2006, i.e. now. Further, when one checks flight schedules, there is only a "TBA" for flights east of Dubai. "Sydney" etc are obviously but a wish list, which would have to be provided by third parties. Their picture of an aircraft in their livery looks like neither a B737 nor Lockeed L1011 they list as their fleet.
