hi guys, last night I was sitting in my garden in London and saw a Emirates a330 heading towards LHR, it seems to me they fly 777 a330 and another type of airbus into LHR, so when did they start flying the a330 in to LHR.cheers daddy1...................


can I have an upgrade thanks..

Emirates started flying the A330 into LHR from the end of September 1999. They use it on the late evening arrival/late night departure from/to Dubai (EK005/EK006).

EK operates another two daily flights to LHR.

EK001/EK002 which arrives around middayish and departs early afterrnoon uses a Boeing 777-300.

EK003/EK004 arrives around 1830-1900 and departs at 2000/2030 ish. This flight uses a Boeing 777-200.

Sometimes due to maintenance etc. they substitute the A330 for A300/A310. Now they have enough A330s it is unlikely to happen that frequently.
