If o, for how long and where to?

Per KA501's reply, they didn't start - the small matter of no ETOPs for their A300s being a contributory factor plus also USA wouldn't allow them to extend their operations due to some regulatory oversight - hence instead of a 2 weekly ATH-MAN-BOS A300 service we ended up with a 2 weekly ATH-MAN 737 service.

Olympic DID have 747s into Boston in the late 1990s, IIRC. Were those strictly Athens-Boston routes???

They must have been - OA and PK had to wait for around a year to gain 5th freedom approval from MAN and this was at the beginning of this decade.

In addition to plain ATH-BOS they also tried other combinations for BOS including ORD and JFK at various points in time. After the 747s were gone they used their 340s on the route.
