Bon Jovi's personal chartered 707 (N88ZL)has gone off the far end of Runway 12 in Hamilton, Ontario. Everyone is alive and well. Flight was operating KBUF to CYHM for his first show scheduled for tonight in Toronto at the Air Canada Centre.
Details are in short supply just yet, but the weather wasn't promising last night when the flight arrived.
Weather at the time: CYHM 210524Z 05010KT 1/4SM -RA FG VV002 RMK FG8

No pics, my friend has some. I'll try to work something out.
More details:
Aircraft landed just after a WestJet 737 (unsure of flight #). Visibility had improved slightly over the 1/4sm reported.
Reverse thrust was heard for a "longer than usual" period of time.
Aircraft is stopped with the mains just off the end of the pavement, and the nose wheel sitting down a 10 to 20 foot drop-off. Fuselage is nearly on the ground, nose wheel definitely stuck.
As of right now, the aircraft is slowly sinking into the soft ground and they are trying to figure out how to get it out of there. Debating the use of skid plates under the nose gear and a few tugs to pull it back up to the runway.

More info to relay:
The aircraft is well-stuck, and the plan to use two tugs, one on each main, won't work. The nose is sinking too deeply into the wet ground. And another issue is the fuel on board. They can't defuel the plane, as the only equipment capable is already full of fuel from a 727 undergoing a C check.
So it'll be there for a while if any of you YYZ area snappers want some pics...

hahaha. Whenever I see this quote, well, it's always awesome. I think us airline afficianado's should bring it out in real life, in random situations and see what the layperson thinks it.

Glad they are OK. Buffalo and Hamilton are so close that had they left HSBC arena in a Limo and driven to Hamilton they would be there in little more than an hour. I realize the plane was going there anyway. It was probably a 12 minute flight.

It is a pity this happened especially to such a nice classic. More importantly I am glad everyone is fine. It is a coincidence that there have been a few trends just recently on this exact aircraft. Hope it will keep flying.

25 CaptainCanuck: Landing fees? Its why most charters use CYHM. Sports, music, etc. They typically all go through Hamilton and then bus/limo to the venue.
26 JAGflyer: I saw that 707 @ YYZ a few weeks ago. It had arrived from Marrakesh.

28 United_Fan: Wow,I would have loved to get a pic of a 707 in BUF. They probably flew to Canada because it's easier going over the border that way.
