.. by yours truly.
Any comments? (Sorry if its so shabby, I did it in a quick second with Paint).
I thought green would be a nice touch because of the new interior "earthy" decor.
BTW, it's supposed to be a 747-400 for those who think it looks like the hunchback of mukilteo. Also, the blue is supposed to go from the top of the fuselage to just right above or below the nosecone. (I'd prefer the new scheme to have a solid-colored nosecone because of all the messy and mal-aligned nosecones nowadays).
Also notice the use of the new stlyized, contemporary, cutoff "U" on the tail...

I kinda like it! but i think the light blue on the engines could be the dark blue on the fuselage but other than that,it is pretty good! but why would UA get a new scheme after they just introduced a new one 5-6 years ago.
Give me a break, I created this username when I was a kid...

I tried to model the new scheme after LANChile's (ah! love it!)...
United is rumored to be adopting a new scheme in light of: a) the merger, and b) more importantly, the new advertising campaign and marketing with U N I T E D font and cut-off "U"s...
The current scheme is from 93, so it is a bit young a 7 years old, and even though it is very professional looking, it just doesn't look contemporary and conflicts with the new UA marketing direction to boot.
Bacardi, that's might alright. Everyone's got their opinions.

Actually, it doesn't look too bad!
I really like the navy that you used on the top, and it was a really good idea to flip the dark/lighter colors so that the white is on the bottom. Engines should be the same blue as the fuselage, and I'm not too sure about the green on the tail, but other than that, it looks great!
