Well, there are several search engines on the internet, such as expedia, travelocity, and thetrip, that are specifically catered to displaying the best fares on airline routes. You might also want to consider looking at Newark to find a less expensive fare. I believe a Saturday night stay will lower the price you pay for a ticket. If your dates are flexible, try and fly during the weekdays, and purchase your tickets at least 7 days in advance. Good luck fare searching.

Also, try http://www.tiss.com. They are a discounter with a specialization in longhaul. The main thing is, shop around. visit several websites, plus a few of the airlines. They often have unadvertised specials or deals that undercut the published fares.

Go to Yahoo.com and then click on the travel icon. When you enter in the desired cities, click on the "show me airlines" button beneath it (this is before you fill in the dates.) It will show you the lowest fares for the route, along with specific dates. I use this all the time and have found some really good bargains. Good luck!
