Good ol SAA, they will have to work hard though to continue getting this award, especially if the ground staff at Johannesburg Intl are included in the rating, such an unfriendly bunch! SAA will have to keep an eye on Kenya Airways , I'm impressed each time I fly with them.

With ET getting B787s in just a couple of years, maybe ET can take the throne?

Just returned from the Cape and enjoyed excellent LHR-CPT (A340-600) and CPT-LHR (744) flights in Buisness with SAA.

Their crew really seem to put in the effort and it is always a real pleasure to land in Cape Town with the Captain waxing lyrical about this "wonderful city".

On my way out I did a straw pole amongst the crew I could talk to anto to a man (and woman) they all preferred the 744 to the 346 for one reason...not enough toilets on the 346!

Well done to SAA. However, is it not time they started to try and compete with the likes of CX, SQ et al, on a global scale. With all respect to Kenya and Ethiopean, being the best in or to Africa is not too difficult, considering the bulk of other African competitors. It is only when SAA starts to get awards that are not region specific, that they can start calling themselves a word-leader in customer service. And as CraigW said, things currently at JIA are not on the up and up. SAA can always do better.
Long live SAA!!!!
