hmmmm ok, I have a question for you guys out there, Is there a way you could possible get the registration number of a plane you've flown in the past? I mean I flew on AA932 (MIA-LGA) on Dec. 23, 2005 and I didn't get a chance to catch the number so can anyone tell me where or how I could get this info?? I tried contacting AA but they told me they didn't have this info with them. who could I contact??
Once the data is processed for the month of December, it will become available. Simply select "scheduled departure time", then MIA as the departure airport, AA for airline, and then finally enter the date. You'll see a table appear, as such:
Departure Statistic(s): Scheduled Departure Time
NOTE: A complete listing of airline and airport abbreviations is available. After the entire table is displayed on your screen, you may download a CSV (comma separated values) file of this table.

This website will tell you the registration of the aircraft you have flown on. At the moment you can only get statistics up to November 05. In about a month they will post Dec. 05. Just follow the instructions.

This may be true for most airlines but AA uses coded fleet numbers within their BTS stats. N5EWAA is obviously not a legal tail number for an American plane. Hopefully someone who knows the AA abreviations will pipe in soon...
