So, today I was in Portland doing my Tuesday route picking up parts from various vendors when I went over to PDX's park strip by Marine Drive to have lunch. I'm at a distance from the gate which from left to right you see a sea of United aircraft, America West, Delta, etc. I see one that has a different tail. Yup, it's Ted! So, I wonder. I know they're hand in hand with United, but I didn't know they would "swap" aircraft. So, is that all it was or is PDX a new destination for Ted?
Thought you guys would know before anyone else did.

Many topics about this around, and I believe that generally when this happens, it is an aircraft that has been painted, but not reconfigured inside.

Thanks guys! Odd to see Ted parked at the PDX gate. Just didn't know if they were in the PDX market now or not.
Appreciate it!

That was flight 250 PDX-IAD, 7:35am departure. It went on a mechanical. It finally cancelled around 2:00pm. It was then towed to the north ramp. It was probably back in service today.
