BA has accused SIA of being a copy-cat, copying designs on "some-aspects of it's First Class seats", and wants SIA to remove the new seats as well as pay for damages for allegedly infringing patents.
SIA meanwhile has started legal proceedings against BA for groundless threats of infringment. SIA claimed that SIA has patented their own seat-beds, and have been advised by legal counsel in Singapore and Britain that SIA had not infringed the BA patent.

Singapore Airlines has always been the best and will always be the best airline in the world. British Airways is a good airline but not as good as SIA. To me Singapore Airlines and Emirate Airlines are the best airlines in the world.
