In this pic you see that there are no centreline bins on the LTU A330, is this the case on all of their A330's or just a few? I have never seen a recent widebody airliner with no centreline bins, and I think it looks great! So much roomier and airy feeling. I know that the DC-10, L-1011 and early A300 didnt have centreline bins as standard, and they were an option, but I thought it was pretty much a requirement now with passengers trying to cart everything they own into the cabin rather than just a small bag with a few bits and a book! Id think that a cabin full of IT passengers in an all economy config would need those centre bins even more with all the crap that families with small kids tend to take on board these days like nappys, toys etc. Isn't it a bot of a squeeze trying to fit it all under the seats or in the sidewall bins?
Does any other airline fly the A330 or any other widebody with no centre bins?
And i mean OTHER than old DC-10 and Tristar.
