Now that I've found this forum, I can ask some of the questions that have been bugging me for a while...

* Anyone else notice that NWA flies 3 flights to Japan daily (Narita, Nogoya, Osaka), all leaving about the same time, from gates next to each other, all travelling 14+ hours, and all landing about few hundred miles apart? Just one of those things you notice... wondering if there's a reason they don't all fly into Tokyo. Is NWA thinking about 380s for this leg, and dropping one of the flights?

* Are there seasonal non-stops from DTW to Europe cities, besides the AMS/FRA/LGW/CDG dailies? Last flight I took, I sat next to a lady who said she flew non-stop from DTW-ROM last September, so that got me curious. Today (for example), there's some NWA flights (operated by KLM) all going through AMS, but nothing direct.

* Does NWA ever plan to service BDA?

Thanks!

Steve B.

DTW-FCO seasonal. But I believe they will not operate it this year due to not enough of A333s.

Starting summer 2008 they will be getting B787s so that they could overfly Narita. No A380s for NW.

From Detroit there are 2 daily to NRT, and one each to KIX and NGO. All those cities are huge, and fill the planes, no reason to have to take people to NRT when they dont want to go there.

Rome is seasonal and will not operate this year.

They do serve Bermuda, its just seasonal service. Saturday only.
