I haven't heard anything about this years celebration. It is interesting to note that SAS and Braathens was both formed in 1946, so SAS Braathens has 2 birthdays this year.

When Braathens S.A.F.E turned 50 years they celebrated this by selling allot of cheap tickets during the summer month. Braathens was formed on March 26 1946. SAS was formed on August 1. 1946. So I don't think that SAS will be celebrating before the summer. SAS sold tickets for 50NOK since they turned 50, but those tickets were almost non-existent.

Would they try to sell tickets for 60NOK/SEK/DKK this time?

It will also be interesting to see if SAS Braathens will celebrate the 26.March date when Braathens was established.

I have a gut feeling that Braathens will slowly disappear from the SAS brand if SAS still exist in 20 years or so.

They've got nothing to celebrate atm. with all the troubles they're having. Maybe later this year but I would not expect anything more than a few stickers on a piglet (736). Big grin

what seems to be the officer, problem?

Just to see SAS Braathens operate on time these days is worth a "celebration".
