Article in Dutch only, I'll give a quick translation.

MEN PROSECUTED FOR HAVING SEX ON BOARD OF PLANE

Last month, Dutch border police have arrested two men for having oral sex on board of an airplane between Asia and Europe. According to spokesman of the Department of Justice, M. Vos, the two will appear in court this Friday.

A purser caught the two, an Irish and Korean man, having oral sex amidst other passengers in business class. Upon arrival at Amsterdam Airport they were arrested. The two men were offered a settlement of 1000 euro, but declined to pay.

No mention of the Airline involved.

Quite a way to join the mile high club  Yeah sure

Funny. Although I think soon enough we are going to tire of Brokeback Mountain references. Can't folks keep it in their pants long enough to take a darn flight. I realize it is a longhaul flight but come on. As already said...take it to the bathroom if you just can't wait any longer.

a female friend told me that when she last flew on TAM last year GRU-MIA in business class, a guy across the aisle covered himself with the blanket and was masturbating!!!!.... that happened when the lights were out and when he probably thought that everybody was sleeping. She couldnt sleep much after that thinkin of the outcome of the masturbation and the dirty seat.
it seems he couldnt sleep without doing it.

Another reason not to use those airline supplied blankets, unless you don't mind the extra DNA....  Smile

On the other hand (please excuse me), it might just be a way to sell more seats. One way or the other, I think I would like to know which airline was involved!

Discounting that these guys were in seats I find nothing prestigious about joining the Mile High Club. I can think of many better places to get funky with a lady than a cramped smelly airplane head. Hasn't anyone seen Vegas Vacation? I don't need blue water staining my leg just to get some slap and tickle time.

Hey! I resemble that remark. Read a damn book for crying out loud.

As for the earlier comment about the guy flogging the dolphin under the blanket...ugghhh. Now you know why I remove the bedspread when I stay at a hotel. Those don't get washed every day.

I don't know the full story, unless they were abusive, doing 'it' for all others to see in full light, and then being argumentative and not following crew instructions and warnings to stop, I don't think the Dutch pursecutor will make that much a big deal of it.
My first guess is it happened in an airline from a slightly more 'prude' country, like Malaysian or Korean?

yes , I am sure it would have ... this often happens and I believe that most airlines treat it the same regardless of the genders of the participants . I can remember a few years ago where QF prosecuted a straight couple for exactly the same thing ( also in business class ) on the EZE-AKL sector when QF still flew to South America

I was under the impression that this happens all the time on long-haul flights not only between two men, man and woman, but also pax asking flight attendants (which also doesn't surprise me) to either help or participate.

Not that I have ever seen this on a plane before, and I really hope not ever in the future, but it wouldn't surprise me being that it's a flight of that duration and cabin lights are off. (And especially if there is no PTVs..)

As with my reply on a similar thread awhile back, if the average person had any idea of how dirty and nasty and airplane's interior really was, nobody would even consider something like that. Most folks wouldn't do it on the floor of a public restroom, subway, dumpster or morgue, so I'm not really sure why and airplane is such a temptation other than bragging rights. Yuck.

A friend of mine was an AA attendant. On an overnight flight to FRA out of ORD there was a mixed gender couple that had the middle bank of 5 seats on an MD-11 to themselves. She was walking downt he aisle and saw that the man had a very happy grin. She saw the wife converered in a blanket and a blanket over his lap. Apparently he was getting "something special in the air".  cheerful

Oh god i saw this fat man do the same thing on an SAS domestic flight on a 736. He had a newspaper covering himself and was only moving ever so slightly and giving us all greasy looks of desire.... gross man! I think some ppl just get off over doing it in public places. As for the korean and Irish passengers... i wonder if they were under the influence of something?
