The cockpit in the picture is an MD80, I guess the author just assumed she was still flying the 727.

Congratulations to her!

Saw the first female pilot on a FX flight and I've been working at FX since 12 Dec 2003. She was a DC10 first officer. She was really nice, walked around the a/c after it landed. She was giving out candy to all the rampers unloading the plane.
