With the accusition of MidAtlantic nearly complete when will Republic be taking delivery of more E170s? I know they are having problems with staffing on the flight crew side of the operations but I can't wait to see a 170 in the new livery.
Actually they still have a little way to go. I think at last count they had only taken on half of Mid Atlantic's Embraer 170's. I think full transfer is not due until late March. There was an other block of aircraft due to transfer over in teh next week or so.... and Shuttle America just picked up a new 170 last week.

Actually they've only taken 3 or 4 of the birds from MDA. Republic is having some major staffing problems, and this comes from a friend that is a check flight attendant for them.
And Republic didn't "aquire" Midatlantic, they just merely purchased the airplanes & their leases from USAirways. Otherwise most of my friends would have jobs at Scabyard.. err Republic. Thank God for this HP deal, otherwise most would be out of jobs, yet again.

Quoting USXguy (Reply 4): Republic is having some major staffing problems
I know, here in PIT the IND flights have been getting axed and replaced by RP extra sections flights for the past week or so. From what I understand it is due to the lack a simulators for the new flight crews. Flight saftey will be getting two more soon and then the flood door s for new 170s crews will open up.
