I was hoping against hope that the 737's I've seen at BWI that are Miami Air birds had a temporary paint scheme. I thought, these birds were leased or newly acquired but, after looking through "A-Net" I see this is their new look. Sorry folks but Zippyjet does not care at all for this new look. It has a cheap hurry up and paint it as cheap as possible. I liked Miami Air's former livery.

This aircraft is on a winter lease from Excel Airways in the UK. When our quite winter period comes, Miami Air lease the aircraft from Excel as it is their busy season. The aircraft will return to Excel sometime around April/May ready for the busy summer. Its an arrangement that suits both carriers, so they dont have spare capacity sitting around in their quite periods.
I would imagine its not worth the cost of spraying the aircraft into Miami's full colour scheme.

Quoting Zippyjet (Reply 3): This one is even higher on my puke-o-meter for outdated ugly cheap looking liveries!
I actually like all 3 Miami Air liveries with the original being my favorite by a slight margin. The problem with the new one is that it looks like a million others and could have chosen a much better logo really, like a stylish or digital looking palm tree at least. Green and Purple would've been nicer too.
Miami Air planes are not even seen at Miami all that often other than when at the maintenance area so I guess the plane-going-round-the-globe logo fits what they do.

The latest Miami Air livery design has a distinguishing colour combination but the globe-image is a bit weak (the meridians are invisable from a distance) aslike the fuselage logo is too low, too close to the window line. It would have been better that the green fuselage line at the rear was thinner at the end... Enough to improve, this livery has potention to grow to something nice but need some professional hands should have to do that job. P.s. Personally I should choose for green painted engine cowlings.
