Still expensive! R/T with taxes is 1,531.16. IIRC, a year ago in May I flew 6A MEX-ACA and ACA-MEX with AM I paid like 1,750.00. Yes, 1W both and combined carriers!

They are still expensive. I think these prices are temporary, once Volaris and Gol come on to the scene, they'll dropp a little more.
Question for the Mexican aviation experts. There is a pilot job posting that says:
" We are seeking Pilots, Flight Attendants, and Ground staff for new Mexican airline to be launch. Type of aircraft still being considered MD80s or 737s".
Anybody know who this airline could be?

Remember that the fare you are got for your trip is only available during certain "sale periods". If you check the roundtrip fares between MEX and ACA, only ZE has a US$99 roundtrip fare + taxes and they only have one flight which is not daily. So Interjet could have a good performance in the route with its 3 daily flights and its low fares all year round.

Certainly truth Rojo! But sure things are getting a little better, for me as I'm only 5 mins away from MEX, it will still be my option to fly, but we sure need those low fares at TLC in order to get the lowest too @ MEX!
Heard ZE will launch it's TLC-LAS and TLC-JFK flights by April 1st.
