There is an amazing picture of the new bird in Alaska Airlines livery in todays Seattle PI. It is a one page as by Boeing thanking Alasaka for the order. Check it out if you can.

I just flew back from SEA to see the role out of the 737-900 in Renton. Here are some stats:

Power Plant : CFM56-7B26, rated at 26,000 lbs. thrust each
Wing Span : 112' 7"
Length : 138' 2"
Height : 41' 3"
Crusing Speed : 530 mph (.785 mach)
Range : 2,745 miles
Passengers : 172 (16 F class and 156 Y class) - Alaska Airlines configuration
