Hi Rw774477

last thing I heard through the grapevine was that the camera itself had a malfunction - or simply quit after five years of intense use - and that it would take "at least a couple of weeks" to install a replacement.

Unfortunately no other (reliable) info since - which looks a bit odd given the popularity of the cam.

Cheers, Lukas

Just to let you know - I just heard it through the grapevine (nah, from a very helpful local spotter and webmaster): The Webcam is indeed back online now, http://www.zurich-airport.com/ZRH/default.asp?ID_site=1&sp=en&hp=1 -> Your Visit -> Webcams

Cheers, Lukas

I'm not surprised. Last time I looked there was a spider blocking the view for over an hour. It was huge - bigger than the 747 on the ramp behind it!

I just checked the snap shot feature and it shows that 9M-MRD is at ZRH today as of 16:55 Zurich time.

9M-MRD returned yesterday due to cabin pressurization problems:

I don't know if the cam is really very interesting at the moment. Here in the city center is heavy snow and it's freezing cold for March! Compared to: Record Heat In Texas (by Texan Mar 2 2006 in Non Aviation)
