There is a thing i'm quite amazed by...the fact EasyJet(ans Ryanair) have never announced they are dropping routes! The only example I can remeber of was EasyJet dropping ZRH because of too high taxes...

However never seen a single of destinations out of GVA go down..

Would you know which routes have been dropped by EasyJet (or Ryanair )since its creation ?

Easyjet
GLA-AMS
GLA-EMA
BRS-CPH
NCL-CPH
EDI-EMA

Those CPH routes were also ones where charges were said to be too high, as with ZRH.

Ryanair have also dropped Stansted-Charleroi amongst others and pulled out of the likes of Klagenfurt too.

A real shame that one; I would have thought it would have been a useful way of shuttling aircraft between hubs.

The real pisser is that easyJet don't do London to Lisbon anymore. TAP and BA are breaking our balls with what they charge on that route. Come back easyJet, in our hour of need.

easyJet never did do Lisbon from London. Go did however operate flights from Stansted to the Portugueuse capital.

In their early days easyJet used to fly from Geneva to Stansted. This was dropped quite rapidly in order to focus on developing Geneva to Gatwick (LGW's first easyjet route).

Of course two major routes which easyJet abandonned were Luton and Gatwick to Zurich due to the latter's airport taxes.

Easyjet as stated above dropped GLAAMS , they originally had 2 daily flts , you could have a good awayday in AMS, they then dropped one flight complaining charges at GLA meant 2 flights not profitable , then when KL upped their service to AMS to 4 a day , dropped the route 27Oct05.
Loads when i flew to AMS appeared to be about 90%, though when i flew 01DEC04 i had booked about 8 weeks before rtn was about £40.00, however glasgow rangers had a fixture in Alkmaar in the Eufa cup announced about 3 weeks after i had booked , within 30mins of the fixture being announced easyjet put the fare up to £379.00 rtn, arent LCC wonderful

R U sure they actually flew between these 2 airports? (And anyways ain't Brussels it's Charleroi  Wink)

From CRL I can actually think off the route to STN which has been dropped since Eurostar and other airlines provided a better service (By landing or arriving closer to Brussels and London) at good prices.
