Airbus SAS is not stock listed anywhere!
SAS stands for Societe par Actions Simplifiee or Simplified Joint Stock Company.
As the name already suggests, is a special sort of limited company under French law, set up by -and exclusively for- a number of share holders only: in case of Airbus these are EADS and BAe.
Other than 'normal' companies, Airbus is simply managed by a Chief Executive Officer who heads an Executive Committee of managers, and is supervised only by a small Shareholders Committee, which consists of five members from EADS and two from BAE Systems. No Q1,2,3,4 results, no annual report, no market outlook, in fact no public communication of any sort needs to be made by this sort of company as there are no public shareholders out there to communicate with.
Obviously, if you want to invest in the European aviation manufacturer, you can always buy shares in EADS, that way you not only invest in Airbus but also in:
-) Airbus Military, known for the CN212, CN235 and CN292 as well as the A400M,
-) ATR, building the well known regional turbo-props ATR42 and ATR72,
-) Eurocopter, employing 11,000 people and having more than 30% of the market,
-) EADS Space, building the all new Galileo GPS system,
-) EADS Space Transportation, building the Ariane rockets for ESA,
-) EADS LFK-Lenkflugkorpersysteme, the number 2 in guided missiles,
For an almost endless list of all EADs activities in the field of aviation, check: http://www.eads.net
