I flew on the 28th Nov MTY-MEX-SCL-MDZ and on the Dec 14th MDZ-SCL-MEX-MTY on F in a LAN operated flight. Ever since, it has taken me over 12 phone calls to AM's FF center and countless faxes with boarding passes, tickets etc. and to this date I still can't get them to credit the full mileage I'm supposed to get. Every time I call, I get a little more mileage. Is this a game of who gets tired first?
Currently, I'm trying to get them to understand that the value for a ticket in terms of mileage is not the same as an F ticket. This, from an airline with expoentially increasing competition and trying to get someone to buy it.
Initially, they wouldn't even credit flight segments with LAN
My other FF is OnePass and I have never had trouble in 13 years of this kind. Or, at least not anything that would not be resolved with a one phone call.
Sorry AM, you may be getting wonderful new 777's but these days an FF program that works can make or break many of your plans. Get to work on it!!

Quoting TACAA320 (Reply 1): Next time try LA. I'm serious, it's simply great.
I did, I flew MEX-SCL in F on LAN and SCL-MDZ in LAN too. Same on the returns. The problem has been for AM to credit those segments on my account. even though it should be "glitch" free according to their codeshare agreements between MX/AM/LAN. It's been such a freaking pain in the a...
For a 5,000 USD ticket, you'd expect better service from the AM morons

I guess this kind of things happen from time to time in all alliances and airlines.
If you want to accrue miles with BA inMexico, you have to send them to Spain!!!!! I have never had problems with AM, but very similar problmes such as those you depict with AA, AF, CX and CO...
So, I guess it is something that just happens randomly... And you were the unlucky one hthis time.
