Very nice new Website from JAT, its clear and and fresh. Come on JAT....you can do it...transform into a great airline. It seems to me that they have not yet got the ability to book online. From my experience some smaller European airlines' online booking systems are rather bizarre. Many a time i've tried to book with OU online and the price i'm told is a lot more than i'm told on the phone.
I see that JAT are beginning to develop the 'hub and spoke' system that they should have..given Belgrade's perfect location. Sarajevo seems daily, with the possibility to connect from other flights. When they get some ne aircraft and change their timetables a bit..things will certainly look up.
It looks nice and cleaner, but I have few complaints:

After all, it's 2006 and only a year before IATA's goal about paperless tickets. JAT is one of the oldest members and they should work really hard to reach that goal.
As an enthusiast I miss photo gallery. JAT had one of the greatest photographers ever, late Mr. Ilija Dimitrijevic who did so much in promoting both the airline and its fleet. They could have found place for his work.
Also, a downloadable timetable in PDF format would be also a welcome edition.
Generally, this is a nice change.
PS Have you noticed the details about the fleet. 722s are finally out , but DC-9s are still there.

Nothing is decided yet and all one can hear are numerous plans.

Don't forget 767-200s that should arrive in May (at least, that's what I've heard).
As for the fleet, it is old, but it can be worse. Right now, the biggest problem is the lack of jet airliner of smaller capacity. DC-9s served well for many centuries and I love them but they are older than me and I'm quite . Having in mind financial difficulties in JAT, the best solution would be leasing few 737-500s. It is not the ideal solution, but it could be acceptable for the next few years.
