Hi.
I have been at STR this week and during taxi after landing I got a pic of a Gulfstream but wasn't able to get the Reg or see it on the pic. The livery is very uncommon so there are good chances that somebody knows this plane.

It's something like N9100C or N910OC.

Date was the 14th of January.

EDIT:

Have a problem with this Gulfstream too. Reg is 30500 and it's sure a plane of the United States but found no hint on the Net.

Thanks for your help!

Georg

It's N910DC. A DaimlerChrysler G-V based in KPTK. Here is a pic with her sister ship N920DC:

It's part of the "Executive Transport Department" from the Naval Air Station Sigonella, or "NASSIG". The aircraft and flights are known as "Catbird".

They provide airborne command and control communications services and VIP transportation for individuals such as the "Commander in Chief US Naval Forces Europe" and the "Commander in Chief Allied Forces Southern Europe".

Here are some more shots of the Gulfstream:

Here's their logo up close. It was designed by the Walt Disney Public Relations Department in 1960:

Thanks for the info guys!!!!  praise

What would be the correct Reg for the 30500? Is it 030-500 or 03-0500 or something else? I don't understand the Reg system of the United States.

Georg.

Military registrations are simply numerical. Civilian aircraft all have registrations that begin with N. If there's someone out there with more info on how military aircraft are registered, I'd appreciate the info.
