The North America President of Airbus has promised to make LAX the first US commercial airport for an A380 visit as a gesture of thanks to the new city leadership which has very quickly moved to begin airfield improvements needed for the A380.
From what I understand the flight will occur in the mid/late summer time frame.
From the desert to the sea, to all of Southern California

Quoting SSTsomeday (Thread starter): But if it's coming, who would like to meet me at IN n OUT for a burger and a date with history?
I would be interested in meeting up at In-N-Out provided the A380 would come to LAX on a weekend...
As it is, I was driving around the Los Angeles basin today (and it is simply a gorgeous day today. The recent rain washed all the smog out of the air) and I watched a Korean 744 circling overhead to land at LAX. I thought, wow, just how much bigger would an A380 be circling around the skies of Los Angeles than a 744? I can't wait to see that monster in person!
