Gulf Air Wins Again In Skytrax

GULF Air has clinched a hat-trick, with a third global award for its onboard catering. It is has been named Best Airline for its 'Onboard Catering Excellence' in the latest Skytrax 2006 awards.

I'll assume you're not familiar with the Middle East carriers onboard services! All carriers in the Gulf serve alcohol with the exception of Saudi Arabian Airlines and, if my memory serves me well, Kuwait Airways (anyone?)

They are numerous ones that do not serve alcohol and that is why I asked. Add Iran and PIA as well.

I had the privilege of flying GF in First Class several times a while back. I was blown away by the meal service. The First Class trolley actually looked like the glamorous photos you always see in advertising. It is so rare to see an airline make such an effort to "present" a meal these days.

Off course alcohol is served for the passengers who wish it!

You need however to respect the religious part for all customers,
GF does that very well, they have a wide variety of religions on board on every flight, so they defenitly need to adapt there inflight product to them.
And the way the new Y class product will become is just great!
Proteines and products are divided and can be mixed!
You like Penne with salmon? or rather Penne with Lamb, or no, give me Mashed potatoes with Salmon? No problem!
