Hi everybody!

What's Air Vias current situation? The last I've heard was that they were supposed to cease ops. in 2006, but when I checked the itinerary of my summer holiday in Bulgaria I found myself booked on Air Via. Their homepage is currently offline, but shows a very bad photoshoped pic of an A320 in VIM colours, is this to become reality or only a dream of VIM's CEO?

So my question is
1) Will they be still around during the summer
and
2) What aircraft will they fly?

I'm a bit confused right now, 'cause I can't see them getting A320's with no money to spend.

Air Via is in progress to change the fleet to A320. The first contract is signed (former Aero Flight aircraft).

And they get two more A320 this year.

As I know the order of Tu-204 is cancelled.

Quoting Delyan (Reply 2):
msn 2128 A320-232(V2500) D-ARFF 2004

That's not correct. This plane goes to Air Astana as P4-PAS.
