Hi all,
I found this website of the Abidjan International Airport in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. It seems that this airport is a very modern airport with new departure facilities and several new jetways.
This webpage is offering some figures concerning passengers and aircraft movements. I thought that it would show shrinking figures but it seems that Air France and Air Ivoire are doing well.
So:
-Does the crew stay or overnight at ABJ? (As I think that the AF flights to CDG stop at ACC for a crew change)
-Is air traffic there really growing, despite the political tense situation?
-How is Air Ivoire doing and how many aircrafts do they currently operate?
-Is there any chance that airlines that used to operate into ABJ (like LH, KL, or others) return in a short term there?
-How important is Abidjan International Airport if compared with those in the neighbouring countries?
-Are there other airports in the region as nice as the Abidjan International Airport?
Thanks for your info.
Here are the passenger figures for last month (January) that can be found in http://www.aeria.ci/

With civil war breaking out every couple months, a lot of people flee the country.... and when the situation gets better they fly back.
Maybe that helps?
