The media needs to get their sh!t right. The last time I checked, Comair was considered a major airline by the DOT. This is truly sad for Comair, always considered to be an industry leader. Those flight attendants only make between 16 and 40K if Im not mistaken. If the company gets their way, I would expect a lot of attrition.

1 billion in revenue is classified as major. They are not a legacy carrier, but they are a major as is ASA, Skywest, ExpressJet and American Eagle.
