Why did when DL have the DFW hub why did they start PBC with RJ's? How did it do? And why didnt AA DFW-PBC work? Also have MX started the flights to JFK? Or does Azteca stil fly it? Anything appreciated

I was based in DFW on the CRJ and as far as I know the only RJ flight that we did to Mexico was to MTY. That did not even last that long. The flight your talking about was probably a codeshare maybe with another airline.

PBC began being served by CO Express years ago on the ATR. That service was halted, and re-started with the XRJ about three or so years ago. I have done that flight many times, but never ran into another RJ crew from the US. I guess they operated a turn service, while we did a turn, and an overnight. Great city, with a nice hotel, but terribly long van ride (about 25-30 min)!

I believe the flight was even started with 2 flights, but very soon went to 1 flight and then was also discontinued rather soon as well. Never had an idea how DL came up with that route, though, and still don't understand it.
