Hi

I notice LON-NCE is very expensive on this day due to a conference in Cannes, wondering if any particular flight is mainly business class, and if any widebodies, B767, are scheduled on this route?

Can BA get more club seats in their A320 than B767?

This is the MIPIM conference and the flights are manic busy. Even easyJet are coming out at over £500.00 for these dates.

Do cabin crew dislike these full club class short flights?

True, but as this is a discussion forum for people to learn, I will tell you SamL.

Its a huge Real Estate conference, held every year in Cannes. I have a major client going out there with 120 staff, and they are all paying in excess of £400 each for there tickets (booked in September last year too!)..

BA alone will make £48,000 in revenue from my pax alone.  Wow!

Does anyone have any idea what the minimum fare U2 charged was? This is totally made-up, but it's so funny I just say to say - just say it had 150 seats and 50 cost £500, 50 cost £600, 50 cost £700 and 50 cost £800. For seats alone, that'd be £130,000.  Wink LMAO.

FR flights to Genoa from STN are £41.51, leaving a bit spare for a first class train journey from Genoa to Cannes along the coast.

Strategy implies they've thought about their long-term plans. Evidently they haven't.  Silly  Wink

BD's strategy does exist, and its (sit down everybody) actually quite a good concept.

however its so badly implemented that it has failed dramatically, and has put the future of the airline at risk

Compare this to what EI and BA connect have done of late. Similar strategies, correctly implemented. But, BD decided to do it the wrong way around - Kill the product, and then (badly) add the improvements.

In my opinion, there’s still major problems: brand distortion; a complicated operation, when simplicity is queen; confusion; not particularly low costs; bad and ineffective relationships; not that high productivity; and so on.

LON = London (all airports). Like NYC is for all New York airports (including EWR, LGA and JFK)
