Hello, everyone!

I was flipping through the March OAG last night and notice an unusual Alaska Airlines flight number. The route showed JNU-SEA nonstop and SEA-JNU with two stops. The equipment is a 73S (737-200?). It doesn't operate everyday.

So what are these flights?

That's strange that they were in the OAG.
Those flights are charters for the USPS.
They are currently operated by a 737-200, but will soon be
replaced by the first 737-400 freighter when it comes online in
The morning flight is SEA/JNU/SEA and the afternoon one will service
KTN and SIT as well, although I am sure there will be frequent stops in
PSG and WRG based on demand from the USPS.

First, benzene in my Perrier, and now this!
