Well, 2 weeks have gone by since I interviewed with jetBlue and I still have not heard anything back from them. Is this normal? How long does it typically take to contact the potential employee (me) as to whether they made it or not? This waiting is driving me nuts! I was going to call jetBlue but the number they gave me when they invited me to the interview initially is not an in service number! Anybody have any B6 interview experiene out there?

Thanks!

Sorry, didn't see that you don't have their number. Maybe someone here can give you the number for the HR dept.

What was the interview process? Did you just speak with one person or did you get passed to another person or multiple people for additional interviewing?

Basically there was about 30 of us in a room and they gave us a little orientation on what the job entails. Then we each had to introduce ourselves. After that, they broke us up into groups of eight where one jetBlue representative (in my case it was the TPA station manager) asked the eight of us questions as a group. It was kinda odd in the fact that we were never one on one with anybody. After they finished questioning us they rounded us all back up together and thanked us and told us they would call and let us know whether or not we were hired. That was it!

You didn't get this from me, but here is my contact.

She is their national recruiter and is stationed at JFK.

I'm guessing she call tell you your application status.

Let us know if you got the job!

Nope! After 9 years I gave them the boot! LOL! I foolishly decided to become a stay at home mom and quit WN last November. I miss the airline industry like crazy and want back in!!!!! Yes, I could go back to WN but with all the seniority I had there and the pay scale I was at, I really dont want to start over at the same airline.

Again, NOPE! I have not had a drug test yet  Wink

So, after leaving just 4 months ago you can't get back in with the same date....???? Yikes...!! Most every place I've been gives you one year as long as you leave on good terms. I'd say leaving to be a stay at home mom gives you just that.

Nope. At WN, if you quit, you quit. Start over time.
We have a girl that did the same thing as me only she had more seniority than me. The poor thing decided to come back and has been on the bottom of the roster, stuck in baggage service for several YEARS now. I still love WN but no thanks!  Smile

Call them if your not calling them to find out someone else might be calling! Now is your chance to stand out and ask for the position.

Come on you worked for WN for how many years, you have contacts at the airport that can help you. Network yourself and get that number and when you do explain to them that the first number they gave you was not good and you tracked them down, now hire me.
