Do NW Has A Boeing 747 200Z's Instead Of B's

Hello Eveybody

I was reading a post about a Northwest 747 making a emergency landding, and somebody wrote that the aircraft was a 747-200z. Now I know Boeing stop building the 747-200 in 1990 but I thought that was ether a 747-200 B or F, I never herd about a 200z. Was it a typo are did Northwest up date there 747-200 recently.

It is an internal designation.
