Why do duplicate posts get under the skin of so many onthis board? There are nicer ways to tell people that the info is already posted!

Whoa calm down.
Anyway, without a bad tone you can say it was posted before, and maybe provide a link or give the name of it, you don't have to be mean about it!
This is hardly news, SONG, was announced months ago to be cutting routes from the Delta network. The long term plan of Delta Airlines is to use the right equipment and fit that equipment with the right markets. Florida as can be seen over decades is a money no win option. So is the case if you are not in the Trans-Con premium market. Delta Airlines tossed away a chunk of premium flyers when they axed the BIZE prooduct and 767-300's from SFO and LAX to JFK. United and American are now enjoying the spoils of that brainless decision. SONG, was a product designed to run head to head with the likes of Spirit, Jet Blue, Southwest, America West, and others. However, as can be seen you are not going to make returns(or healthy ones at that) flying a 757 with $69.00 airfares on 3 hour flights to Florida.
Jet Blue, can have all of the low yield traffic it wants, that is their game. Delta has realized that the future, or their survival herein lies with International traffic, and premium products. This is the reason that Europe is being blanketed starting this summer, and that Delta is going more and more global from JFK. Also, keep in mind that the money no gain routes like ATL-MCO, TPA, JAX, MIA, FLL, PBI, LAS, MSY, and SJU will be seeing less and less 767 over the coming years as the big boys are needed for an expanded European and South American network that on average earns 5x-8x that of your average domestic ticket.

Actually, it's news to me - this is a specific article on DA and JetBlue.
Had it been "Song To Disappear", perhaps a deletion of the thread by administrators would be in order. However, I don't see the problem in this variation.
I agree that everyone has their own personal topics that irritate them - I can't for the life of me understand people's joy of "The Never Ending Peter Maxx Thread", but I skip it. It's not worth getting worked up over. And personally, I say "live and let live".

Actually, what gets under my skin is incorrect grammar and usage. This sentence needs a dash AND perhaps the word "please" before the command portion.

Hmmm.... ever think of not reading these posts? Eventhough they come up on a somewhat regular basis some newbies might not have seen them and want to put their two cents in.
Never argue with an idiot. They drag you to their level and beat you with experience.

Before a post is entered you are flashed a screen that asks if the topic being entered is similar to others in the forum... I am not here to preach...
In regards to the topic this is good news for both DL and B6. Good for DL beacuse they can use the equipment on higher yielding markets. Good news for B6 because they can breathe a sigh of relief that they have one less thorne in their sides for certain markets.

I too am perplexed by a.net users who make a big deal over multiple threads.
My theory:
1. I pay to use the site.
2. The people that I converse with on the 'multiple' thread pay to use the site.
3. If we're happy doing it, who cares if it's a multiple thread?
